We took it to the street yesterday and even though it was a very visual rally over a major highway we were struck by the music played. Fuck this, fuck that. We had hopped for not lowering the cause to this level. There were no ICE around but we wondered what level we would be in then. We are against violence but in our way try to instigate it our self. Then we observed a young couple screaming the song to their young boy to get him into the spirit of the song. It really makes you think why we get into wars. Personally we wish that protesting could be done with less escalation of anger. Good luck on that.

Bob, this is completely unrelated, but you should search yourself in the epstein files: https://www.justice.gov/epstein

lawrence krauss mentions you by name lol!

edit: Paul Bloom's friend, Steven Pinker, seems to have been very cozy with epstein! Nice emails between them even after Epstein's conviction. What an amazing moral compass Pinker has -- must explain his perspicacity w.r.t. israel/palestine.

Why is no one asking the obvious questions? Isn't attacking and damaging the vehicle of a federal officer a crime? Didn't Alex Pretti commit a crime when he kicked the vehicle and damaged its light? Why wasn't Alex Pretti arrested on January 13? It is my understanding (and Google AI's ) that in the state of Minnesota if someone is arrested and given bail, he is prohibited from carrying weapons until his trial and I believe his guns are taken into police custody for the time being. If that had occurred, Alex Pretti would not have had a weapon on him (if he had still chosen to do what he did on January 24... since he was out on bail), a federal officer would likely not have shouted, "he has a gun" and Alex Pretti would be alive today.

Don't the mayor of Minneapolis and governor of Minnesota bear some responsibility for Pretti's death for the following reasons?

1) They didn't arrest and process him for breaking the law on January 13.

2) They haven't addressed the people of Minnesota to say, "Hey, we understand how you feel about ICE in our state. We agree with you and recognize your right to express your opinion by protest, but PLEASE, do NOT interfere with federal officers doing their jobs. They did not make the decision to come here. Stay away from them so that nothing terrible happens. We will protest and continue to express ours strong disapproval through peaceful protest..... yada, yada, yada..."
